Dr. Subba Rao V. Durvasula is an Emeritus Scientist, Marine Biologist, formally of the Bedford Institute, Dartmouth, N.S. Canada, and Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, Kuwait. Dr. Durvasula is an Honorary Professor of Andhra University, Waltair, India, where he also received his Ph.D degree. He has published over 120 papers in primary scientific journals and five books. Dr. Durvasula has worked extensively on the biology of plankton, algal cultures and environmental perturbations.
