The idea of preparation of this compendium came up when Drs. R. Madhavi, A.V. Raman, D.R.K. Sastry, Karra Srinivasa Rao, Nalluri Subba Rao, D.V. Subba Rao and K. Satyanarayana Rao (all former students of Professor P.N. Ganapati) met during 9-10th October 2010 at the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India at the Centennial Celebration Symposium of Professor P.N. Ganapati.
